Convergence of Windows 10 IoT Core and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise

Based on extensive feedback from device builders, Microsoft decided to converge Windows IoT Core and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise into one OS release starting with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021.

Partners building with Windows 10 IoT Core (1809 build) can leverage Windows 10 IoT Core Services (supported until Jan 2029) for current solutions. Going forward, partners with Windows 10 IoT Core deployments on x64 and ARM64 silicon can transition to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 to build, support, and commercialize their solutions.

Differences between Windows 10 IoT Core and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise
